Mr. Muoneke was Managing Director of the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), now NNPC Exploration & Production Ltd (NEPL). He also supervised and contributed to the successful completion of the National Integrated Power Project, the privatization of ten power generation companies, and the divestment of gas delivery, transmission, and distribution infrastructure—milestones that reshaped Nigeria’s power sector.

In private practice, Mr. Muoneke served as Principal Partner at Muoneke & Associates, PC (Los Angeles) and Senior Partner at Chancery Solicitors (Abuja/Lagos), advising governments, investors, and corporates on power sector reform, public–private partnerships, and energy and infrastructure transactions across emerging markets.
